Order Specialty Coffee in Nashville, TN — Pickup at Sun Valley Mall
In short: Call (615) 219-4641 and your order will be ready for pickup at the 8th & Roast counter inside Sun Valley Mall, 2108 8th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37204. Open Daily for You 10am–9pm.
How phone ordering works
- Browse the menu and pick what you want.
- Call (615) 219-4641.
- Tell us the items, proteins, sides, and any modifications.
- Give us a pickup time. We will tell you the soonest realistic ready time.
- Drive to Sun Valley Mall, walk into the food court, pick up at our counter.
For most orders during off-peak hours, ready time is 10–15 minutes. During the lunch rush (roughly 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM weekdays) it can be 20–30 minutes — calling ahead is absolutely worth it. Larger group orders need more lead time; we’ll quote it on the call.
What we recommend ordering for pickup
Burritos, burrito bowls, quesadillas, taco plates, tortas, and nachos all travel well. Street tacos are best eaten within 10–15 minutes of pickup — the corn tortillas soften the longer they sit. If you are ordering for a group, mention it on the call so we can pack everything together and label by name if needed.
- Travels best: burritos, wet burritos, burrito bowls, tortas, quesadillas, nachos.
- Eat soon after pickup: street tacos, quesabirria.
- Best for kids: cheese quesadilla, bean-and-cheese burrito, chips and guac.
- Best for sharing: nachos with double protein, taco plate platters, family-size guacamole.
Payment & pickup
We accept cash and major credit cards at pickup. The food court at Sun Valley Mall has ample free parking and multiple entrances; the closest entrance to our counter is the food court entrance off the parking lot facing Willow Pass Road.
When you arrive, walk to the 8th & Roast counter inside the food court — your bag will be ready with your name on it. If we are slammed and you have to wait a minute or two, thanks in advance for the patience; we always finish call-in orders in the order they were promised.
Pickup vs. dine-in
The food court has open seating shared with all the food court restaurants — perfect if you want to eat right away. Pickup is best if you want to take it home, back to the office, or to a meal you’re hosting. Most call-in orders are pickup; most walk-ins eat in.
Tips to get your order right the first time
- Be specific about protein. “Burrito with al pastor, beans, rice, mild salsa, no sour cream.”
- Mention spice level. Mild, medium, or hot — we can also put salsas on the side.
- Call out add-ons. Extra protein, extra cheese, guacamole, sour cream — easier to add at order time than after.
- Repeat the pickup time. A quick read-back avoids confusion at the counter.
- Confirm payment plan. Most folks pay at pickup; just let us know how many people you’re paying for.
Service area
We serve customers across the East Bay including Nashville, Midtown, 8th Avenue South, Midtown, Nashville, Midtown, and 8th Avenue South. Pickup is at Sun Valley Mall. For larger group orders or catering, see catering.

Common pickup mistakes (and how to avoid them)
- Showing up too early. If we said 12:30, the food peaks at 12:30 — earlier means it sits.
- Skipping spice level. Tell us mild, medium, or hot, or ask for salsas on the side.
- Forgetting drinks. Add horchata or Jamaica when you order — easy to forget on the phone.
- Ordering only street tacos for a long drive. Burritos travel better; street tacos are best within 15 minutes.
- Not mentioning a group. If you’re ordering for five+ people, mention it so we can pack and label.
Group order checklist
- Get a headcount and rough preferences (meat eaters, vegetarians, spice tolerance).
- Pick a target pickup time at least 30–45 minutes out.
- Contact Us with the list — we’ll repeat it back and confirm the time.
- Bring a card or cash for pickup.
- Designate one person to grab the bags so the line stays clear.
How to keep food hot for the drive home
Most of our packaging is foil-lined and holds heat well for 15–20 minutes. If you have a longer drive, set the bag flat in the car (not on its side), keep it out of direct sun, and plan to eat right when you get home. For events farther out, see our catering & wholesale programs — we use insulated trays that hold heat much longer.
Why phone ordering still beats most apps
Third-party delivery apps add fees and wait time, and they put a courier between you and the kitchen. Calling us directly means you get the freshest food at the best price, with no markup. For most of our customers, a five-minute call saves $5–$10 over a comparable delivery order. If you’re close enough to drive over yourself, picking up directly is almost always the better deal.
Allergy & dietary notes for pickup
Mention allergies on the call and we’ll walk through the ingredients of any item you’re unsure about. Most of our salsas are gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free. Cheese and sour cream are easy to leave off any plate. Vegetarian builds are simple. If a member of your group has a serious allergy, please call ahead so we can confirm and prep separately where needed.
Order timing through the day (Order page)
Mornings (10 AM – 11 AM) are quiet at our counter — easy walk-up, no wait, and a great time to grab breakfast-style burritos before the mall fills in. The lunch rush from roughly 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM weekdays is our busiest window; calling ahead during this stretch can save you 15–20 minutes. Mid-afternoon (2 PM – 4 PM) is calm again. Dinner from 5 PM to 7 PM is steady, especially on Friday and Saturday nights when the mall is busiest. Late evening from 7 PM to 9 PM is relaxed and a great time for a slow, comfortable food court meal.
Pickup vs delivery apps
We do not run our own delivery service. Some third-party delivery apps may list us, but ordering directly by phone is almost always faster and cheaper because there are no third-party fees, no courier markup, and no app commission. For most customers within a 15-minute drive of Sun Valley Mall, calling and picking up is the better deal — both for you and for us.
Sample call script
Not sure what to say on the phone? Here is a quick template that works:
“Hi, I’d like to order pickup. Can I get one Wholesale Coffee Program with everything, mild salsa; one Whole Bean Coffee with chicken, no sour cream; and an order of street tacos — carnitas, three of them. Pickup around 12:45. My name is Alex.”
That is it. We’ll repeat it back, confirm the time, and have it ready when you arrive.
